The process of writing can be daunting. It can consume an artist and take over daily functions as it distorts reality and ultimately, absorbs them. At times, a shift in focus is required.

On a 'whim' OVN began to record one his favorite tunes by good friend and musical/artistic colleague, Shitty Bedford. Reality shifted. Shitty was actually pleased with the outcome of this first “cover”. The decision was made to create a small collection of Shitty cover songs. Tunes that could be rearranged, then recorded and given to him as a gift. The recreations are intimate in nature, drawing one into a personal experience.
Opportunities are presented. An unintentional project is given life. Same old story? Nah, more updates to come.
